The Boat Named Clearwater
Built and captained by true sailors.
The Schooner, named Clearwater, was built in 2017 right here in Clearwater by a lifetime sailor and Merchant Marine who partnered with a local naval architect to bring his vision to life. She is a 52-foot steel monohull schooner, with a 16-foot beam and a displacement of nearly 46,000 pounds, giving her strength, stability, and presence on the water. As Clearwater Beach’s only monohull sailboat, her iconic four-sail rig is instantly recognizable — especially when locals spot her silhouette on the horizon at sunset.
Fully U.S. Coast Guard certified, Clearwater is both a working sailing vessel and a piece of local craftsmanship, built to sail properly, sail safely, and sail often. With a maximum of just 22 guests aboard our 52-foot classic schooner, the experience is calm, uncrowded, and personal. Guests are welcome to relax, enjoy the view, or help raise and trim the sails alongside the crew if they’d like.
